| Bacchus is a Japanese brand based in Nagano, Japan. It's a brand under the Deviser umbrella, which owns a large guitar factory called the Asuka Factory. The high quality of their guitars, thanks to their in-house manufacturing, is highly regarded by many musicians. This model is the BFV from their Global Series, which aims for high quality through its unique manufacturing process. The body features a spruce top and a nyatoh back. Its striking V-shaped body with F-holes and a semi-hollow construction gives it a distinctive and attractive look. The neck is made of maple with a medium scale length, and the fingerboard is rosewood. The herringbone-style body binding and dot inlays give it a calm, acoustic guitar-like feel. It's equipped with two gold foil pickups, characterized by their retro look. They produce a bright and fat sound. The bridge is a Tune-o-matic with a stop tailpiece, making it suitable for various playing styles. Furthermore, while production itself takes place in an overseas factory, each instrument is inspected individually at a specialized department in Matsumoto City, Nagano Prefecture, after arriving in Japan. Particular attention is paid to adjustments that directly affect playability. This is a new Bacchus product featuring a unique V-shape + thinline construction.
