| Framus is a German guitar brand founded in 1946. Although it went bankrupt in 1975, it was revived in 1995 as part of Warwick. This model is a reissue of a 12-string acoustic guitar that appeared in the early 1960s. The original became famous when the late John Lennon used it in the Beatles film "HELP!", and it is also known for fetching approximately 450 million yen at auction. This legendary 12-string acoustic guitar was reissued in 2025. The body top is made of solid A-grade Sitka spruce. This is a standard wood used by famous brands for their standard models. The sides and back are made of sapele, the neck is mahogany, and the fingerboard is rosewood. The finish is a traditional lacquer. The brilliant and expansive sound unique to 12-string guitars is its charm. This guitar boasts unique specifications that set it apart from typical 12-string acoustic guitars, including a wider nut width similar to classical guitars, an adjustable bridge, and a trapeze tailpiece.
