HEX Guitars is a brand based in South Korea that specializes in products spanning the entry-level to mid-range price points.

They own their own factory in Indonesia and handle manufacturing in-house. This sets them apart from brands that typically rely on OEM production.

Because they don't outsource to other factories and the boss himself gets hands-on at the factory floor, they produce guitars of unexpectedly high quality for their price point.

The OS Series features a flowing body shape inspired by Fender's style.

It incorporates a modern tremolo unit and fat single-coil pickups, fully meeting the demands of modern guitarists.

The beautiful body is crafted from Indonesian Mahogany, the neck from Canadian Hard Maple, and the fingerboard from Indian Rosewood.

The scale length is 648mm (25.5 inches), and the fingerboard radius is finished with a 12-16 inch compound radius.

A compound radius provides a rounder fingerboard shape in the lower positions and a flatter shape in the higher positions.

Generally, a rounder fingerboard radius offers better playability but can lead to fret buzz in the higher positions.

The compound radius solves this issue.

This technology is adopted by high-end brands like Suhr Guitars and Tom Anderson.

The neck profile is slim and features a neutral C-shape.

The pickups are original P90-type.

The neck and bridge pickups have their winding counts adjusted to account for output differences.

They use original pickups on many models.

This isn't for cost-cutting; it stems from their confidence in the quality of their own pickup designs.

Staff who understand music and play daily meticulously researched and designed numerous elements like magnets, wire, and bobbins.

The balance in hand is excellent. Even players accustomed to Fender or Gibson guitars will likely find it comfortable to play.

You'll likely experience a fat, rich sound while retaining that crisp attack texture.

Its character also suits guitar-vocalists well.

The fundamental neck quality is exceptionally high, resulting in superb playability. It's difficult to definitively say it falls short even when compared to more expensive guitars.

Overall, it's a fantastic product boasting high quality in looks, playability, and sound.
