| stilblu is an original brand created by Blue Guitars, a guitar shop in Toyama City, Toyama Prefecture. Based on years of experience in setting up and repairing numerous instruments, they create guitars with a unique style that fuses respect for vintage guitars with modern ideas. This instrument is the EFLO, an original model born from stilblu's free-thinking approach. Its unique body shape, headstock, and meticulously crafted details give it a presence that sets it apart from ordinary guitars. The body is made of carefully selected ash wood. It is finished with a traditional nitrocellulose lacquer in an extremely thin layer. The paintwork is a traditional 3-Tone Sunburst, with a tortoiseshell pickguard and a bold yet natural aging process by skilled craftsmen, giving it an overwhelming presence reminiscent of a vintage guitar that has been played for many years. The neck is made of carefully selected maple, and the fingerboard is made of carefully selected Indian rosewood. The fretboard features binding for a premium feel, and the combination of a 25.5-inch long scale, 10-inch radius fretboard, and narrow-tall frets achieves modern playability while retaining a vintage feel. It comfortably handles everything from chord work to technical lead playing, making it suitable for a wide range of players. The pickups are original mini-humbuckers newly developed for the EFLO. While possessing the clarity and brilliance reminiscent of single-coil pickups, the humbucker structure ensures low noise. The sound is not so much the refined clarity typical of Japanese guitars, but rather a raw and unpolished quality reminiscent of overseas boutique guitars. It also excels in responding to picking nuances, directly outputting the player's expression. The tuning machines are Gotoh SD91, and the bridge is a floating tremolo unit, achieving both smooth tremolo action and stable tuning performance. This is a guitar that we highly recommend not only to guitarists who want to get their own special instrument, but also to guitarists who are very focused on live performance.
