| Kz Guitar Works is a brand based in Zushi City, Kanagawa Prefecture, that manufactures high-quality guitars. They are also known for manufacturing the Brian May signature model guitar for Queen, which has garnered worldwide acclaim. While the Red Special is highly regarded, the manufacturer's original models are also highly praised for their excellent playability and high-quality sound, and are currently used by many renowned guitarists, including Kazumi Watanabe. This model is basically based on the traditional Stratocaster, but it is an ambitious work that shines with unique ideas throughout. The body is made of Big-Leaf Mahogany. The traditional double-cutaway design, combined with a natural color that highlights the beautiful grain of the mahogany, and a black pickguard that tightens the overall look, results in a classic yet sophisticated appearance. The neck is made of Big-Leaf Mahogany, and the fingerboard is made of Indian Rosewood. The neck features a Slim Thin profile, medium jumbo frets, and a 12-inch fingerboard radius, offering modern playability. The Kz Classic Single Alnico2 delivers a crisp, bright sound, while the Kz Classic Humbucker, based on 1950s vintage humbuckers, offers a clear yet fat tone. Furthermore, the bridge position humbucker can be coil-tapped to function as a single-coil pickup. The hardware is impeccable, featuring Gotoh locking tuners, a Gotoh two-point tremolo bridge, and a Black Tusq nut.
