Kazumi Kobayashi is a luthier who crafts a wide range of instruments, from classical to archtop guitars, and is renowned for consistently high quality achieved through carefully selected materials and meticulous craftsmanship.

This model was custom-ordered with the same specifications as the OM/CW models currently available on the market.

The top is made of German spruce, while the sides and back are crafted from Indian rosewood.

Featuring an OM style, cutaway design, elbow contour, and back contour, it offers an acoustic sound combined with exceptional playability.

With its dark brown-style coloring, body binding, and Hawaiian koa on the contoured areas and headstock back, along with an abalone rosette, it boasts a truly luxurious appearance.

Additionally, the finish uses traditional lacquer, offering a lustrous sheen—and we’re very much looking forward to seeing how it ages over time.

The neck is made of Honduran mahogany, while the fingerboard, bridge, pickguard, and headstock are crafted from ebony.

The scale length is 645 mm, and the nut width is 45 mm, providing a traditional playing feel.

The bracing features a scalloped X-bracing pattern made of German spruce. This achieves acoustic characteristics that combine delicacy with power.

The nut and saddle are made of cow bone, and the tuners are high-precision Gotoh SGS510-EN01-CK models, ensuring extremely stable playability.

Furthermore, this instrument is equipped with a Sunrise S2 pickup, which delivers a very powerful sound.

This makes it invaluable when playing at high volumes through an amplifier.

The truss rod is on the stiff side, but it has been confirmed to move through about 90 degrees.

The body and finish show general scuffs and dents. There are scattered dents near the cutaway on the top of the body. There is some paint chipping at the joint.
