While the body's finish makes it hard to tell, the wood grain at the joint suggests Basswood for the body, Maple for the neck, and Rosewood for the fingerboard.
Despite its flashy appearance, the wood selection is classic.
This results in a manageable sound characterized by responsive, easy-to-handle playability with minimal quirks.
