| Fender is, of course, the number one brand of electric guitars and basses. It's loved by countless top artists, including Char, Thurston Moore, and Kurt Cobain. The Mustang was released by Fender in 1964. Its compact body shape, easy to handle, and the light playing feel thanks to its short scale are very appealing. Although it's categorized as a student model, it actually commands the respect of many professional guitarists. This particular model is a 1978 Mustang. The body is made of ash, the neck is maple, and the fingerboard is rosewood. The blonde color of the body and the discoloration of the neck due to age give it an old-school feel. It's equipped with two gray bobbin single-coil pickups. It possesses the characteristic brilliance of Fender while also featuring a unique sound that is unique to this instrument. The bridge uses a dynamic vibrato. The 1970s Mustang holds a unique position among vintage Fender guitars. This is a recommended guitar for those who want to enjoy the charm of a short-scale guitar. The frets have approximately 70% remaining. The truss rod and neck are in good condition. The body and paintwork show overall signs of use, including scratches and dents. There is a black scratch and crack near the cutaway, sticker residue on the back of the body, dents all over the back of the neck, paint chips on the top of the headstock, and rust and tarnish on the metal parts. The electronics are in good condition. The potentiometers have been replaced.
