| Fender Japan is a brand that was born in 1982 as a joint venture between Fender USA and a Japanese instrument manufacturer. This model is the TL69-75 Blue Flower from the Fender Japan brand, which was highly regarded but unfortunately ceased to exist (integrated into the Fender brand). It's a reproduction of a Telecaster released by Fender around 1968, featuring a floral wallpaper-like material applied to the body. It was manufactured by Fujigen, a long-established Japanese manufacturer. Alongside Pink Paisley, this color symbolizes the psychedelic era of the late 1960s. The vibrant look, with the floral pattern peeking through the clear pickguard, is unique to this model. The blue color has a mellow, aged feel, giving it a vintage atmosphere. The neck is made of maple, and the body is generally considered to be made of basswood. This Telecaster features two TL-Vintage single-coil pickups and classic Telecaster controls: a 3-way selector switch, volume, and tone. The bridge is a 3-saddle vintage style. Its crisp attack and moderately aged midrange are characteristic of the Telecaster sound. Even after nearly 40 years since its manufacture, this guitar still exudes Made in Japan quality. A must-have for anyone looking for a Telecaster with a striking presence. The frets have approximately 90% remaining. The truss rod is stiff, but it moves approximately 90 degrees. The neck is in good condition. The body and paintwork show overall signs of use; there are some paint chips and exposed wood on the sides of the body. The electronics are in good condition. No obvious modifications were found.
