| Fender is, of course, the number one brand of electric guitars and basses. It's loved by countless top artists, including John Mayer, Cory Wong, and Jeff Beck. The Stratocaster model, released by Fender in 1954, emerged as a derivative model of the Telecaster, the original solid-body guitar.
