| Gibson is a king of guitars, having produced countless legendary instruments. It's loved by countless artists, including Larry Carlton, Lee Ritenour, and Shinichi Ubukata. (Titles omitted) The ES-335 was introduced by Gibson in 1958. It features a distinctive double-cutaway hollow body. The body's interior has a solid center block where the pickups and bridge are mounted. The sides are hollow, with F-holes similar to those on a violin. This structure, somewhere between a solid-body and an acoustic guitar, is known as a semi-acoustic guitar. The appeal of a semi-acoustic guitar lies in its resistance to feedback compared to a fully acoustic structure, making it perfectly suitable for rock music. In fact, many artists use them in rock bands. This particular model is a Custom Shop production. The Custom Shop is a special manufacturing division created to accommodate custom orders. To meet the demands of professional artists and guitar dealers, we manufacture superior guitars with high technical skill. Their high quality is highly regarded by artists worldwide. This model is a reproduction of a 1959 ES-335. It features the look of the era, including dot inlays, a minimally processed center block, a long pickguard, and Mickey Mouse ear horns. The body is made of Maple/Poplar/Maple laminate. This controls the resonance of the body while increasing its durability against cracking. The body color is a tasteful natural, finished with traditional nitrocellulose lacquer. The neck is made of Mahogany, and the fingerboard is Rosewood, a traditional Gibson combination. Custombucker pickups are installed in the neck and bridge positions. Reproducing the legendary PAF pickup, the sound is full and sweet, yet also tight. The semi-hollow construction and thin body provide excellent resistance to feedback, allowing for worry-free use even with distortion. This is a legendary instrument loved by numerous artists and used in a wide variety of musical genres. Why not take this opportunity to acquire one? Fret life is approximately 90%. The truss rod and neck are in good condition. The body and paintwork have some minor scratches, but no major damage, making it a beautiful instrument.
