Description & Condition

PRS is a new-era standard guitar brand, alongside Fender and Gibson.

The beautiful guitars they produce are known to be used by top musicians worldwide, including Carlos Santana, John Mayer, Orianthi Panagaris, DAITA, PABLO, and KANAMI. (Titles omitted)

This model is released from the Core series, PRS's standard and top-of-the-line series.

It is handcrafted by skilled artisans at their headquarters factory in Stevensville, Maryland, using the highest quality tonewoods and the latest hardware.

This model is a Special Semi-Hollow, featuring a semi-hollow construction in PRS's traditional body design.

It is a flagship model with a gorgeous look unique to PRS, a rich sound from its semi-hollow construction, and a wide range of sound variations thanks to its HSH layout and mini-switch.

Produced to commemorate PRS's 40th anniversary, it features special specifications unique to this instrument, such as a luxurious tonewood configuration different from the regular line, a Pre-Factory Eagle headstock logo, and old-school bird inlays.

The body back is made of Black Limba, and the top is made of Figured Maple.

It features a semi-hollow construction, resulting in a sound that is somewhere between a solid-body and an acoustic guitar, combining a moderate resonance with tightness.

The beautifully undulating grain of the Artist Grade wood is finished in the popular Faded Whale Blue color, and the F-holes on the body contribute to its extremely luxurious appearance.

The Maple top features PRS's world-renowned smooth violin curve.

It is hand-carved in multiple stages, giving it a three-dimensional and luxurious feel.

The finish is traditional lacquer.

The ultra-thin coating, which meets PRS's strict regulations, maximizes the natural resonance of the wood.

The neck is made of Black Limba, and the fingerboard is made of Honduran Rosewood.

The neck shape is a Pattern with a comfortable grip, and with a 25-inch scale and 22 frets, it offers playability that blends vintage and modern elements. The pickups are the latest McCarty III in the neck and bridge positions, and a PRS Narrowfield in the middle position.

The McCarty III incorporates the know-how that PRS has cultivated through years of research into vintage pickups, producing a clear, well-balanced, and warm, rich tone.

The PRS Narrowfield is a pickup that has been modified from the highly acclaimed PRS 57/08 to a mini-humbucker size.

While retaining the low noise characteristic of a humbucker structure, it outputs a brighter tone than a regular humbucker.

The controls feature a 5-way blade switch and an independent coil-tap switch.

This allows for a wide range of sounds that you wouldn't expect from a single guitar.

The control layout is different from the orthodox 5-way switch, showing attention to detail.

The tuning machines are PRS Phase III Locking Tuners, and the peg buttons are the latest wing buttons.

This has resulted in a lighter headstock and improved sustain compared to conventional models.

The bridge is equipped with a PRS Patented Tremolo Gen III.

This patented PRS bridge is characterized by its smooth tremolo action and high tuning stability.

Hollow-body models often use tremolo bridges such as Bigsby, making this a rare specification.

This is a commemorative model produced in a limited edition of 280 units worldwide.

It can be said to be the ultimate guitar that satisfies all aspects at a high level: playability, design, and the joy of ownership.

Experience the ever-evolving charm of PRS.

The frets have approximately 80% remaining.

The truss rod and neck are in good condition.

The body and paintwork have some minor scratches overall, and the metal parts have some tarnishing, but there is no major damage and it is in good condition.

The electronics are in good condition.

No obvious modifications were observed.
