Description & Condition
Description & Condition
| PRS is a new-era standard guitar brand, alongside Fender and Gibson. The beautiful guitars they produce are known to be used by top musicians worldwide, including Carlos Santana, John Mayer, Orianthi Panagaris, Daita, and Pablo. This model is released from the SE line, which achieves high quality through superior quality control while keeping the price lower than conventional models. This model is the Paul's Guitar, created as the ideal guitar for founder Paul Reed Smith. The body back is mahogany, the top is maple, and a beautiful flame maple veneer is applied. By using a three-layer body construction, the cost is kept down while achieving a beautiful look similar to PRS's higher-end models and a genuine sound from the maple top and mahogany back. The neck is made of mahogany, and the fingerboard is made of rosewood. While the SE series often uses maple for the neck, this model uses mahogany, just like the higher-end models. Compared to maple, it features a sound richer in harmonics. The pickups are TCI "S" pickups, created after analyzing various single-coil pickups. The clear sound with minimal coloration is suitable for a variety of genres. It is equipped with an independent coil-tap switch, allowing for a total of 8 different sounds. This control is a first for the SE series. The bridge parts are a high-quality brass insert stop-tail bridge, the same as higher-end models. While positioned as an entry-level model, it is a superb PRS SE series instrument that rivals higher-end models. We can confidently say that it offers quality beyond its price. Please try it out. The frets have approximately 90% remaining. The truss rod and neck are in good condition. The body and paintwork have fine scratches overall. There is a linear scratch on the pickup on the body top. On the body side, there is a linear scratch on the lower part of the 6th string side, and a dent on the lower part of the 6th string side. The body back has a dent on the lower part of the 6th string side and a linear scratch on the contour. The headstock has a linear scratch near the 1st string tuning peg on the surface. The electronics are in good condition. The tuning pegs have been replaced with Gotoh locking tuners. Controls: 1 volume, 1 tone, 3-way toggle switch, coil tap.
