| SCHECTER is a US-based brand that manufactures and sells high-quality guitars. Schecter has a long history and a strong reputation in the US, having even undertaken OEM manufacturing for New York-based brands such as Sadowsky. This model is the Banshee-7 from the DIAMOND SERIES, which offers excellent cost performance. It's a model that utilizes the low-end frequencies unique to 7-string guitars while possessing specifications that make it suitable for a wide range of genres. The body is made of alder, combined with a quilted maple top. The neck is a multi-laminate maple/walnut neck. The fingerboard is made of ebony and features 24 X-Jumbo frets. The combination of a 26.5-inch scale and a 12-16 inch compound radius makes it easy to play chords in the lower positions and suitable for lead playing in the higher registers. This guitar features Seymour Duncan Nazgul pickups in the bridge position and Sentient pickups in the neck position. The Nazgul is a high-output model designed for 7-string guitars, maintaining definition in each note, including the low frequencies, while also handling heavy riffs. The Sentient in the neck position is a versatile model that can be used for a wide range of tones, from high gain to clean. The controls consist of Volume, Tone with Push-Pull function, and a 3-Way Selector. It features a Hipshot Hardtail bridge and string-through-body construction. Locking tuners are also included, ensuring stable tuning. This guitar is suitable for modern playing styles, from riffs and down-tuning that utilize the low frequencies unique to 7-string guitars, to lead playing that takes advantage of the compound radius fingerboard and 24 frets. The frets have approximately 80% remaining. The truss rod is in good condition. The neck shows significant warping and twisting, particularly on the bass string side. The string height is 2.0mm on the 6th string side and 1.5mm on the 1st string side, which is playable. The body and paintwork show overall scratches and dents, and the metal parts are tarnished. The body top has numerous linear scratches on both horns, paint chipping near the bridge, and dents near the front pickup. The body sides also show numerous dents and scratches, including dents on the 7th string binding. The neck has many small dents, with noticeable dents near the 5th, 8th, 9th, and 15th frets. The headstock shows signs of wear, and there is paint chipping on the volute. The electronics are in good condition. No obvious modifications were observed.
